# Mumble AI for iPhone (Mumble Note)

> Mumble AI for iPhone is currently on the App Store as Mumble Note, an AI voice note taker that pairs with Mumble AI on Mac.

Mumble AI for iPhone is currently available on the App Store under the name **Mumble Note**. It is the companion app to Mumble AI on Mac: capture voice notes on your phone, and they sync into Mumble AI while the Mac app goes through its redesign.

## What it does

Mumble Note is an AI note taker built around your voice. Talk through an idea and it records, transcribes, and turns the rambling into a clean note you can read later. It works on its own, with no Mac required.

## How it relates to the Mac app

Notes you capture in Mumble Note sync one way into Mumble AI on your Mac, so everything you say on the go is there to organize and build on later. The Mac app is being redesigned; these iPhone guides will grow alongside it.

**Is Mumble Note free?**
It is free to download and try. Some AI features have their own limits inside the app.

**Do I need the Mac app to use it?**
No. Mumble Note works fully on its own. The Mac app gives you a bigger home for the notes you capture.

**Why is it called Mumble Note and not Mumble AI?**
Mumble Note is the current App Store name for the iPhone app. The product family is coming together under the Mumble name, and we will update the guides as that lands.
