Chat is a conversation with an AI that has read your notes. Ask what a client said last month, get a summary of a collection, or draft something from three separate recordings.

Where to find it

  • About everything: the star button in the top bar of the home screen opens chat over all your notes.
  • About one note: the round blue button at the bottom of a note opens a chat with that note already attached.
  • About a collection: the same button at the bottom of a collection attaches the whole collection.
The compact chat opens as a sheet you can drag up to full height.

References

The chips above the message box are the notes and collections the AI is looking at. Tap Add reference to attach up to 10, searching by title. Remove one with its X. Chat with no references answers from everything you have recorded.

Asking

Type, or tap the microphone to speak your question; voice is transcribed and sent as text. Turn on Search the internet in the composer when you want the answer to draw on the web as well as your notes.

Answers

Each answer shows a Found N sources chip. Tap it to see which notes it drew from. Under the answer, Save as new note keeps it as a note of its own and Add to collection files it, along with the notes it cited, into a collection you choose. There is also a copy button.

History and to-do recommendations

The menu in the top-right corner holds New Chat, History grouped by date, and To-do recommendations, which lists the tasks Mumble has spotted across your notes so you can add them in one go. Notes, collections, and to-dos
