A cleaner look, smarter chat, and fewer taps to get things done. This is the biggest Mumble Note update since spring.New
- Chat with AI cites its sources. Ask a question across up to 10 notes or collections. The answer shows which notes it came from, and you can save it as a new note or add it to a collection. Open Chat from any note or collection and that one is already attached.
- Turn any sentence into a to-do. Select text inside a note and tap “Make it a to-do.” The to-do keeps a link back to the note it came from.
- Review suggested to-dos in one go. Add all, pick where they land, or undo all.
- Notifications. Mumble asks for permission once, at a moment that makes sense, then tells you when a long recording has been written up and sends one reminder each morning at 8 with what is due today. Turn either off in Settings.
- Starter includes 10 AI chats a month. Chat with AI used to be Pro only.
- Switch any note to a format it never had. Older notes and typed notes can now become Paragraphs, Bullets or Structured. Mumble rewrites them on the spot.
- Links in notes are clickable. Pasted or typed web addresses open with a tap.
- Help Center and What’s New live in Settings. A “Get help” button on the purchase and retry screens takes you straight to the right article.
Improvements and fixes
- Apple Watch recordings sync more reliably. Uploads keep going when the Watch app is in the background, survive a spotty connection, and show up on your iPhone as soon as they land.
- Notes stay fresh without relaunching. Notes made on another device, or while your phone was offline, appear when you come back to the app.
- A refreshed look across notes, collections, and chat. Redesigned collection rows and detail pages, an action dock at the bottom of every note (Follow-up, Translate, Ask AI), a larger image carousel, and easier-to-read note previews.
- Various smaller interface refinements and bug fixes throughout the app, including a crash when long-pressing a note card, to-do fields hiding behind the keyboard, and purchase errors that now say what went wrong.

- Interrupted recordings are restored. If the app is closed unexpectedly while you are recording, the recording is kept. The next time you open Mumble you can resume it or submit it, so no audio is lost.
